Many of us, along with our families, are active participants in the organizations highlighted below:

Bill Boyar is a Board member of the Houston Food Bank, Board member (and past Chairman) of SEARCH Homeless Services, Board member of KIPP, Inc. and past Chairman of the Board of End Hunger Network - Houston. He is a current member of the American Leadership Forum's Class of 2010-2011 and is also a member of the Greater Houston Partnership's Center for Houston's Future Class of 2009.  Pam Boyar, Bill's wife, is an emeritus Board member at Post Oak Montessori School.

Gary Miller has been actively involved since 1994 with Camp For All Foundation, which owns and operates a camp for chronically ill and disabled children and adults near Brenham, Texas.

Chris Hanslik has been active since 1995 in the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo as a member of the Speaker's Committee where he has served in various leadership roles including Vice Chairman. He is a Texas Bowl Advisory Board Member and has served on the SMU Alumni Association Board of Directors. Catherine Hanslik, Chris' wife, is a volunteer camp counselor for The Periwinkle Foundation's Camp YOLO - a camp for teens being treated for cancer and other life threatening diseases at Texas Children's Hospital.

Greg Jones serves on the Steering Committee of Young Life, Greater Houston Region. The Steering Committee's goal is to place Young Life Clubs and Leaders in every high school in the Houston area, which includes, specifically, inner city schools. He is also a Senior Fellow of the American Leadership Forum (Class 28), an organization of some 2,500 members that "joins and strengthens diverse leaders to better serve the public good."

Tim Heinrich is charter president of the Kiwanis Houston Sunrise Club and a past lieutenant governor for the Kiwanis clubs in the greater Houston metropolitan area. Tim currently serves on the Board of Stewards of Terrace United Methodist Church. Tammy Heinrich, Tim's wife, is very active with Santa Maria Hostel, which provides a substance abuse treatment program for women and their children, and is a Board member of SEARCH Homeless Services.

Steve Kesten has been an active member of the Rotary Club of Houston since 1992. Steve serves as a member of the Executive Committee of the Rotary Lombardi Award and was the General Chairman of the event in 1997. In 2007, Steve was named a Paul Harris Fellow by The Rotary Foundation of Rotary International for his 15+ years of "Service Above Self" on behalf of the Rotary Club. The Rotary Lombardi Award honors the outstanding college lineman of the year while raising significant contributions benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Lee Collins is the Chair of the Board of Directors for The Park People, a non-profit citizens' organization dedicated to promoting the importance of parks and green space. The organization provides advocacy and services for the preservation, enhancement and expansion of parks in our community.

Trey Wood is Chairman of the Board of Advisors for the Devereux Texas Treatment Network and is also active in the Rotary Club of Houston serving as Chairman of its Rotary House Committee. Trey is also an active member of the Houston Bar Association's Habitat for Humanity Committee.

Andrew Pearce is an active member of the Houston Bar Association's John J. Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run Committee, which organizes the annual John J. Eikenburg Law Week Fun Run. Each year, 100 percent of the entry fees for the Fun Run are contributed directly to THE CENTER, a United Way agency dedicated to offering people with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to reach their full potential and to contribute to their community. Since 1986, the Houston Bar Association has raised over $886,000 for THE CENTER to help support a variety of programs designed to provide education, job training, socialization, community living and health care for people with intellectual disabilities. Alicia Pearce, Andrew's wife, is a Board member at Good Shepherd Episcopal School.

Doug Parker is a former member of the Executive Committee for the Urban Land Institute - Houston (ULI) and Houston Baptist University's Alumni Board of Directors.  Doug served on the Executive Committee of the Board of Directors for DiverseWorks Artspace, a non-profit art center dedicated to presenting new visual, performing and literary art in Houston and is a past president of the Society for Marketing Professional Services Houston Chapter.
