Biography

I joined the firm in May 2009 as an associate in the Business Group. My practice involves a wide variety of corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, dispositions, corporate restructurings, private placements and venture capital financings and general corporate governance matters.

I am a member of the American Bar Association, Houston Bar Association, and Texas Young Lawyers Association.

Representative Matters

• Represented public manufacturer of onshore and offshore wellhead refinery equipment in stock purchase acquisition of smaller competitor.
• Represented privately-held natural gas pipeline in sale of segment of the pipeline in exchange for cash consideration.
• Represented privately-held telephone support services company in sale of the company in a transaction valued at over $80 million.

• Represented Blackhawk Specialty Tools, LLC, an oilfield services company headquartered in Houma, Louisiana, in connection with a private equity investment made by Rock Hill Capital Group.
• Represented privately-held fragrance manufacturer in purchase of smaller company in order to expand operations internationally.
• Represented start-up companies in locating and acquiring financing for operations.
