I joined the Firm as an associate in the Business Group in November 2006. While in law school I clerked a semester for Justice Evelyn Keyes of the First District Court of Appeals and volunteered my time mediating cases in justice of the peace courts. My law practice is focused primarily on transactions involving real estate and corporate matters like the following:

• representation of a Texas-based real estate developer in the acquisition, disposition and financing of multiple properties in Houston and the surrounding area;
• representation of a group of California-based real estate investors in the acquisition of a Dallas area office building; and
• representation of a Texas-based hospital system in the acquisition of all of the assets of a central Texas pharmacy.

I am currently a member of the Real Estate Section of the Houston Bar Association and the Houston Young Lawyers Association. Away from the office I enjoy spending time with friends and family, and following the athletic teams of the University of Texas.
