I joined the Litigation Group in October 2005. Since joining the firm
I have represented a diverse range of clients from individuals to large
corporations. My practice spans a wide spectrum of commercial
and business litigation, including contracts, business torts, securities,
breach of fiduciary duties, employment law, and landlord-tenant disputes.
While in law school I clerked one semester for then Texas Supreme Court
Justice Priscilla R. Owen, who presently sits on the Fifth Circuit Court
of Appeals. I was a member of the Texas Review of Litigation and as a TQ taught
first-year law students the fundamentals of legal research and writing.
Each of these experiences afforded me valuable opportunities to develop
my own legal research and writing abilitiesimportant skills for any
litigator. Thoroughness and attention to detail are traits that I highly
value and bring to my work in the Litigation Group.
My husband, Greg, is a technology and management consultant for Accenture.
In our free time we enjoy watching University of Texas football, sampling
the vast array of Houston restaurants, playing golf and fishingespecially at Lake
Okoboji, Iowa.
