My practice involves primarily real estate, construction, commercial and corporate law transactions. My real estate and construction practice is devoted to the acquisition, development, financing and disposition of commercial and industrial real estate. My work in the area of commercial and corporate law is in connection with transactions that involve the formation of commercial business entities, including corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies; as well as the acquisition, financing and disposition of different business enterprises through asset and stock purchase transactions, restructuring, capital formation, contracts and similar agreements, and all other general corporate matters. The most rewarding aspect of my practice is the ability to provide the representation my clients need in their on-going business activities while building lasting relationships that make a meaningful difference in clients' lives. I place a high level of importance on understanding the issues from my clients' perspective and providing them with a level of service  that exceeds their expectations and results in confident and well informed business decisions on their part.

A sixth generation Texan, my family's roots run deep along the Gulf Coast. Growing up on working cattle ranches in South Texas, I learned about character, integrity and values long before ever entering law school; a trait that has always been appreciated by my clients, my family and my friends. In my free time I enjoy spending time in Victoria and Goliad on my family ranches. I enjoy boating, both on fresh and salt water, and am an avid billfisherman. I am an active member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and a supporter of the Houston Grand Opera and the Alley Theatre.
