IABC/Houston Honors 2006 Executive Communicator of the Year
Bill Boyar, Chairman of BoyarMiller, Saluted for Communication Excellence
HOUSTON, Texas (August 25, 2006) — The Houston Chapter of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) awarded its prestigious Executive Communicator of the Year Award to Bill Boyar, Chairman of BoyarMiller, at the chapter's annual Bronze Quill Awards Banquet Thursday, August 24, 2006, at Champion's Pavilion in Minute Maid Park.
IABC Executive Communicator Judge Beth Miller, ABC, explained that "Bill Boyar and his law firm take a holistic approach to communications, a rare quality for any type of business today, using a broad range of written, electronic and face-to-face programs that are at the very core of the BoyarMiller business strategy. To be nominated for the Executive Communicator of the Year award candidates must be an active senior management official (communication and public relations professionals are ineligible), and must have demonstrated solid understanding and support of communication within their organization and have the highest professional and ethical standards in fulfilling their responsibilities.
