Joseph "Trey" L. Wood, III joins boyarmiller as of counsel

HOUSTON, Texas (August 2, 2010) — BoyarMiller, today, announced that Joseph "Trey" L. Wood, III has joined the firm's Litigation Group as Of Counsel, bringing with him more than 20 years of trial experience with specialized expertise counseling clients on all aspects of the employer/employee relationship.

Wood, a creative problem-solver, works with companies to solve labor relations and employee issues, reducing the threat of potential claims by employees or ex-employees. He is Board Certified in Labor and Employment Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization (1996) and has represented companies in federal and state courts nationwide as well as before various state and federal agencies such as the EEOC, OSHA, the Department of Labor, the Texas Workforce Commission, and Immigration Customs and Enforcement.

Wood has a BBA from Texas State University (1985) and a JD from Texas Tech University School of Law (1998). He is involved with the Greater Houston Partnership, the Rotary Club of Houston and he serves on the Board of Directors for the Independent Insurance Agents of Houston. In addition, Wood serves as the Vice Chair, Texas Advisory Board of the Devereux Texas Treatment Network and is on the Habitat for Humanity Committee of the Houston Bar Association.
