Back to School With SEARCH 2011 Uniform Drive Closing Party

BoyarMiller, BrandExtract, CultureMap and Lasco Enterprises – home to The Tasting Room and Max’s Wine Dive – joined forces for the 2nd Annual BACK TO SCHOOL WITH SEARCH fundraising drive to benefit some 100 children supported by SEARCH Homeless Services programs.

The July month-long campaign raised over $14,000 in donations used to purchase school uniforms for kids who rely on SEARCH to help prepare them for the school year.

More than 125 guests packed The Tasting Room’s CITYCENTRE location to celebrate the close of the campaign.

Funds for this campaign were raised through individuals:

  • Purchasing a $20 uniform voucher (redeemable for a free pizza during July at any Tasting Room location)
  • Purchasing a glass of wine, wine tasting or retail purchase at the Kick-Off/Closing events with portion of proceeds benefiting the campaign

Special thanks to Parker Uniforms who joined this cause and is providing uniform purchases at a deeply discounted rate for the kids at SEARCH.
