Bill Boyar a Finalist for the Center for Houston’s Future 2012 IMPACT Award
HOUSTON, Texas (September 5, 2012) — Bill Boyar, Founder and Shareholder at BoyarMiller, is one of three finalists nominated for the Center for Houston’s Future IMPACT Award along with Sylvia Mayer and Ruthanne Mefford.
The inaugural 2012 Center for Houston’s Future IMPACT Award is designed to recognize transformative, of-the-moment leadership by the Center’s Leadership Forum Alumni. The award, voted on solely by Forum Alums, will be presented to a Forum graduate whose extraordinary community service is having a meaningful and beneficial impact on the people of the greater Houston region.
The first-ever winner for the IMPACT award will be announced at the gala on October 5, 2012 at the River Oaks Country Club.
At the dinner, Y. Ping Sun, 2010 CHF Leadership Forum Alum, will hold an “interview-style conversation” with James Fallows — author, national correspondent for The Atlantic, and the youngest ever chief White House speechwriter.
