Doug Parker Elected to Levy Park Conservancy Board of Directors

HOUSTON (May 9, 2017) – Doug Parker, chief operating and marketing officer of BoyarMiller, has been elected to the Board of Directors of the Levy Park Conservancy, which manages and maintains Levy Park, spearheads its private fundraising and provides its public programs.

“I’ve enjoyed watching the redevelopment of Levy Park from my 14th floor office at BoyarMiller over the last year,” said Parker. “I’m excited and honored to be part of the board and look forward to contributing my time and talents to help raise funds to be used for the management, maintenance and programs for Houston’s newest and most amazing outdoor public green space.”

Levy Park is located in the Upper Kirby District and recently underwent a $15 million renovation. The land was deeded to the city of Houston by philanthropist Leon Levy in 1941.
