Texas Super Lawyers Names Five BoyarMiller Attorneys to 2014 Listing
HOUSTON (October 15, 2014) — Bill Boyar, Chris Hanslik, Gary Miller, Craig Dillard and Cassie Stinson, all shareholders at BoyarMiller, have been selected for inclusion on the Texas Super Lawyers 2014 list.
Super Lawyers is a Thomson Reuters ranking service and publication. The Texas Super Lawyers 2014 list recognizes what its criteria deems are “outstanding” lawyers from more than 70 diverse practice areas across the state. No more than five percent of attorneys in Texas are selected for inclusion on this list, which is compiled through the publication’s patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates and peer reviews by practice area.
Chris Hanslik, chairman of BoyarMiller, is a litigator whose practice spans the full spectrum of commercial and business litigation including contracts, business torts, securities and corporate governance, oil and gas, lender liability, trade secrets, non-compete agreements and other employment-related disputes. He has been listed as a Super Lawyer since 2005.
Bill Boyar is a founding shareholder in the firm’s business group and focuses his practice on representing parties involved in the acquisition, disposition, capitalization and financing of assets and businesses on a national and international level. Boyar has been selected to the Super Lawyers listing since 2003.
Gary Miller is a founding shareholder with a practice focused on mergers and acquisitions, capital formation, contract negotiation/documentation, lending, factoring and day-to-day representation of corporations and other business entities. Since 2006, Miller has been included on the Super Lawyers list.
Cassie Stinson concentrates her practice on commercial real estate and finance issues, in particular public/private partnerships. She was named one of the top 15 women in commercial real estate by CREW Houston and selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America (2014) for Real Estate Law. She has been included in Texas Super Lawyers since 2011.
Craig Dillard is a trial attorney in the litigation group. He handles a multifaceted docket of cases involving general commercial litigation, employment disputes, intellectual property litigation, product liability claims, insurance coverage/bad faith claims and construction litigation. This is his second consecutive listing as a Texas Super Lawyer and he was listed to the Texas Super Lawyers Rising Star list from 2010 – 2013.
