Chairman’s Letter

Letter from Our Chairman

We hope you and your families are managing the quarantine life and staying healthy. Like you, the BoyarMiller team is looking forward to getting out and about soon. Starting this week, we have welcomed re-entry into the office for a portion of our employees, while continually meeting with clients and carrying about our service to clients virtually. We were fortunate to engage with the doctors at FormulaMed to advise us on the safest and most prepared way to be in the office, while also protecting our employees and keeping business continuity.

We have been busy providing continued guidance to our clients on the ramifications of legislation regarding the CARES Act and the PPP (Paycheck Protection Program). Our COVID-19 Updates and Resources legal center is frequently updated, so be sure to check that page for the latest and most up-to-date attorney insights and information.

And here’s some good news we’re happy to share. Our work on a real estate transaction received one of ACG’s Deal of the Year awards. Co-Founding Shareholder Bill Boyar led a team representing long-time client Welcome Group, a Houston-based industrial real estate development company, who formed a joint venture with a New York-based REIT allowing them to expand outside of Texas for the first time, as well as growing their portfolio to close to $1 billion. BoyarMiller was well represented with two additional finalists in the ACG awards video.  One led by Bill Boyar for our client Amtel, and another led by Shareholder Steve Kesten for Specialized Waste. Read more about the deals HERE.

I want to remind you that we are here to help you through this challenging time. If we can be of assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

On behalf of BoyarMiller,

Chris Hanslik
