Letter from Our Chairman
With the change of season comes a tinge of normalcy. The kids have headed back to school and are learning in varying modes – some virtual, some in person, most as a hybrid of the two. And some iteration of football season is upon us.
Per information from the Texas Medical Center, I was encouraged to see that COVID-19 cases and hospitalizations are trending down. And this month we also heard from Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner that the city would begin to allow small events, as long as organizers follow standard COVID protocols.
And now for some BoyarMiller good news. Our firm was listed as a finalist for Houston Business Journal’s “Best Places to Work.” Finalists were decided from employee surveys that evaluated their companies in areas such as goals and leadership, communication and support, advancement opportunity and skill development, recognition and compensation, tolerance and flexibility, and embracing innovation and ideas. We’re excited to be among the finalists. Stay tuned, winners will be announced late October.
At BoyarMiller, we know how important it is to just listen – to clients, to employees, to colleagues and partners. That is why this month we are launching a new feature – a poll to listen and collect feedback. As everyone’s time is limited, we promise to keep it short and, and we encourage you to submit your answers here.
Chairman Chris Hanslik shares good news from BoyarMiller this month and invites you to fill out our short survey about how the pandemic has affected your business.
“If you want a law firm that’s passionate about being the best lawyers that they can be, building relationships that are long-lasting, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives, then BoyarMiller is the firm for you.”
Chris Hanslik, Firm Chairman
