Aimee Smith

Originally from Metairie, Louisiana, just outside of New Orleans, Aimee brings a people-first approach shaped by a unique career journey that began in education. A graduate of Louisiana State University, she earned her degree in Education along with certifications in Regular and Special Education and Early Intervention. She is also a member of the Chi Omega sorority. After six years supporting students and families, she transitioned into recruiting, where she discovered a passion for connecting individuals with opportunities that align with their goals and values. Her experience spans both external search and internal talent acquisition, hiring across a wide range of roles including IT, finance, accounting, sales, and administrative positions.

At the core of Aimee’s work is a genuine commitment to helping people find their best fit and build meaningful, long-term careers. She is driven by the impact that the right opportunity can have on someone’s life and takes pride in fostering authentic relationships grounded in integrity, empathy, and trust. Her own transition from teaching to the corporate world continues to shape her perspective, reinforcing her belief in recognizing potential beyond a résumé and advocating for individuals based on their character and work ethic.

Outside of the office, Aimee enjoys cooking, listening to audiobooks, staying active, and spending time with family and friends. She is also a fan of live music and makes frequent trips back to New Orleans for Mardi Gras, Saints games, and LSU events. She enjoys time with her daughter and her dog, Boudin, and embraces every opportunity to stay connected to her Louisiana roots. Who Dat and Geaux Tigers!
