Adam Aschmann has over two decades experience in government and public affairs and in the corporate legal environment, including serving as Vice President & General Counsel for a large homebuilder. He currently serves in leadership roles for the National Association of Home Builders, Texas Association of Builders and the Greater Houston Builders Association.

Adam Aschmann is a member of BoyarMiller’s Real Estate Group and represents individuals and corporations in all real estate matters. He has worked as Vice President and General Counsel for a large homebuilder, as well as many years in government and public affairs in Houston and Washington, D.C. prior to earning his law degree. He is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of the South Texas College of Law.

He is active in several industry associations including the National Association of Home Builders, where he currently serves or has served on the Board of Directors, the Federal Government Affairs Committee, the State & Local Government Affairs Committee, and as a BUILDPAC Trustee. For the Texas Association of Builders, he currently serves or has served on the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, Attorney Council, and the Government Relations Committee. He is a former Board Secretary for the Greater Houston Builders Association and is active on several committees.

Adam has been recognized with a Texas Association of Builders Excellence under 45 Award and Greater Houston Builders Association Young Professional of the Year award. He also received a Medal of Honor for service to the USDOT during and after the events of 9/11.

He began his career in government affairs as a presidential appointee working for the U.S. Department of Transportation. While in Washington, D.C. he spent time on Capitol Hill and served on a presidential campaign, a national convention, and an inaugural committee.
