3rd Annual Back to School with SEARCH
2012 Uniform Drive Kick-Off Party
BoyarMiller, BrandExtract, Parker Uniforms, On the Mark Communications and Lasco Enterprises – home to The Tasting Room and Max’s Wine Dive – have teamed up once again for the 3rd Annual BACK TO SCHOOL WITH SEARCH fundraising campaign benefiting the children supported by SEARCH Homeless Services.
During the month of July, two special events will be held at The Tasting Room–Uptown to raise $30,000 in much-needed funds for the uniforms and educational programming at SEARCH.
To participate in this important drive, please plan to attend.
During the month-long drive, funds will be raised through:
- Event underwriting (see below)
- Making a $20 contribution towards the purchase of school uniforms and other back to school needs (redeemable for a 20% off coupon for food at any Tasting Room location)
- Purchasing a wine tasting flight at the Kick-Off/Closing events with proceeds benefiting the campaign
- Visiting any Tasting Room location during the month of July and mention Back to School with SEARCH” and 20% of your purchase will benefit SEARCH
With your help, we know we can meet our goal to help dress these kids as they head BACK TO SCHOOL. Together, our dollars will help SEARCH provide children, ages 5 -16 with required public school uniforms including khaki pants and shorts, white polo shirts, navy skorts, socks, underwear and more. And, if we surpass our financial goal, we’ll purchase extra special items for the kids like hair ties and barrettes, shampoo and soap, combs and brushes, belts and other extras that help make kids feel their best on their first day of school.
