Public-Private Partnership Conference 2015
Cassie B. Stinson is a featured speaker at this upcoming conference on Public-Private Partnerships.
The P3C is one of the largest gatherings of development professionals in the country. Owners, industry executives, and government decision makers will gather for three days of in-depth P3 learning, business development and extraordinary networking opportunities.
Unraveling the Complexity of P-4 “Angel” Projects
Three experts will uncover the winning elements of two Houston P4 Projects. With the catalyst of angel donors to spark the projects, these P-4 programs are revitalizing an inner-city neighborhood and an area’s natural resource.
Jill Jewett of Jewett Consulting will review the successful MATCH program, Midtown Arts & Theater Center Houston. This is a $25 million project developing an inner-city block with exhibit space and performance venues for visual and performing arts, and leasing space for emerging art groups.
Anne Olson, president of Buffalo Bayou Partnership, will discuss the successes and learnings of Buffalo Bayou Park, a $55 million park restoration project to be completed next year transforming 160 acres into one of the country’s great urban parks.
Moderating the panel is Cassie Stinson, shareholder of BoyarMiller, legal counsel to the non-profit developer/operator on both of these projects. She will share the war stories about sparring with the city’s legal department in structuring the long-term maintenance obligations – a key issue in all P4 Projects.
