BoyarMiller Chairman Chris Hanslik Honored by Bryan ISD Education Foundation

HOUSTON (July 23, 2019) – BoyarMiller Chairman Chris Hanslik will be honored by the Bryan ISD Education Foundation as a distinguished graduate and recognized as a member of its 2019 Hall of Honor. The tribute acknowledges former students whose achievements, strength of character, and citizenship serve as models to inspire and challenge today’s students.

The Bryan ISD Education Foundation provides scholarships and financial support to Bryan ISD students and teachers and is aimed at improving student academic achievement. Criteria for Hall of Honor nomination is positive recognition of individuals who have distinguished themselves on a local, regional or international level.

“I feel blessed to have grown up in such a wonderful community as Bryan, Texas,” said Hanslik. “The public education system there provided me with many opportunities from the classroom to the athletic fields. I was certainly the beneficiary of numerous talented and committed teachers and coaches who had a meaningful impact on my life. I am forever grateful.”

Hanslik will be recognized at the Hall of Honor reception and dinner August 17. The event raises funds for scholarships as well as celebrates three other distinguished alumni.
