U.S. News & World Report – Best Lawyers® “2016 Best Law Firms” Ranks BoyarMiller in Seven Practice Areas
HOUSTON (Nov. 11, 2015) – BoyarMiller has received two national and five metro rankings by U.S. News & World Report – Best Lawyers® “2016 Best Law Firms.” The selection is based on a rigorous evaluation process that includes client and lawyer evaluations, peer reviews from leading attorneys in each practice area and review of additional information provided by law firms as part of the formal submission process.
Nationally, BoyarMiller received a tier 3 ranking for securities/capital markets law and venture capital law. For the metro Houston area, the firm was ranked in five practice areas: tier 1 ranking in real estate law for the second consecutive year; tier 2 ranking in merger and acquisition law, venture capital law and securities/capital markets law; and a tier 3 ranking in corporate law.
“We believe that our success in these influential rankings is a direct reflection of what our clients think about the firm and our relationships with them,” said Hanslik, Chairman of BoyarMiller. “We are honored to be viewed as their trusted advisers and to provide them with quality legal representation.”
Clients rate firms based on expertise, responsiveness, understanding of business needs, cost-effectiveness, civility and whether they would refer another client to the firm. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America©, which recognizes the top four percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S.
