Alex Wolf

Associate, Litigation Group

Alex Wolf is a member of BoyarMiller’s Litigation Group and has experience in various stages of litigation including discovery and motion practice, depositions, mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial. She represents corporate and individual clients in state and federal court in a variety of complex commercial and business matters. Alex has second-chaired a successful jury trial involving contractual and fiduciary duty claims. She also routinely argues motions in court and represents clients in mediation.

A diligent advocate, Alex was named in 2020 by Houstonia Magazine as one the Top Lawyers in Commercial Litigation in Houston. In law school, Alex served as a Senior Articles Editor for the Houston Journal of International Law and received the LEX Award for the best appellate brief and highest grade in Legal Skills & Strategies, Dean’s scholarship, Irene Rosenberg Advocacy Scholarship, and the Ann Dinsmore Forman Advocacy Award & Scholarship.

Outside of work, Alex is an avid sports fan and loves to travel. She has done mission work in Cuba, Mexico, and Peru.

Relevant Representative Matters

Successfully represented mixed-use real estate developer in claims for breach of contract, breach of warranty and construction defect against its former general contractor involving substantial water infiltration in two luxury apartment buildings.

Representing an employer to enforce a non-competition agreement against a former employee.

Pursuing claims on behalf of a supplier of industrial guar for breach of contract against one of the supplier’s customers.

Settled breach of contract dispute between manufacturer of car products and a purchaser.
