Josh Uzoma is a Houston native who proudly calls the city home. He attended the University of Houston where he studied Computer Information Systems—Go Coogs! His local roots and technical background have laid a strong foundation for his growing career in IT.

Role at BoyarMiller

As a member of BoyarMiller’s IT team, Josh provides day-to-day technology support to firm employees and assists IT Manager Eddie with projects that help strengthen and improve the firm’s systems. His work plays an important role in keeping operations running smoothly across the firm.

Working in the Legal Environment

While Josh didn’t come from a legal background, working alongside attorneys has been a rewarding experience. Seeing the dedication, focus, and work ethic of the attorneys and staff each day motivates him to bring the same level of commitment to his role.

Professional Growth

One of the most impactful experiences in Josh’s career has been completing IT certifications and continually pushing himself to learn more. These certifications have expanded his technical knowledge and directly enhanced his ability to support the firm effectively.

Biggest Inspiration

Josh credits his father as his greatest inspiration. He describes him as the embodiment of selflessness, drive, and hard work—qualities that continue to shape how Josh approaches both his career and life.

Outside the Office

Outside of work, Josh is a true sports enthusiast who can talk sports all day. He’s also a big fan of sci-fi films and television shows, enjoying the creativity and imagination the genre offers.
