Associate, Probate Litigation
Martin’s practice focuses on probate litigation and guardianship matters. He has experience handling complex trust and estate cases, including the administration of both intestate and testate estates, resolving probate disputes, and overseeing trust administration with a client-centered approach. His litigation background also includes defending and contesting wills in both bench and jury trials, as well as achieving negotiated resolutions through Rule 11 agreements and Family Settlement Agreements. Additionally, he has represented clients in guardianship proceedings for both adults and minors.
Martin earned his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and a B.S. in Crop and Soil Sciences from Michigan State University. He is admitted to the State Bars of Texas, Michigan, and Wyoming, and the Southern and Northern Districts of Texas, and the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern District of Michigan. He holds Texas guardianship certification and ad litem qualifications in Harris County and has served as guardian ad litem in Michigan.
