Meet Forward Science

Forward Science is a privately held MedTech company based in Houston, TX and founded by two biomedical engineers, Brian Pikkula, PhD and Robert Whitman, MSE. After their cancer research efforts at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, Forward Science was founded in 2012 with a vision to innovate technologies into simple, efficient, and more affordable options to change lives.

Forward Science’s flagship product is an award-winning oral cancer screening device, OralID. The company also manufactures advanced diagnostic testing products for oral healthcare and treatment options. More recently, they have added a sanitation and PPE line, including their own line of hand sanitizer and surface disinfectant. All products are designed, developed, and manufactured in-house in Stafford, Texas.
