BoyarMiller Partners with HBA for Habitat for Humanity Build
On Saturday, May 21st, BoyarMiller’s attorneys, staff and their families joined together to help a local family fulfill their dream of home ownership in the Milby Park neighborhood of northeast Houston. The firm’s efforts are part of Habitat for Humanity’s home building program through the Houston Bar Association, the longest continuous sponsor to Habitat’s program in Houston.
“Providing sweat equity for this important Habitat project is something that the BoyarMiller team was excited to do,” explained Chris Hanslik, chairman of BoyarMiller. “Serving our community is just as important as serving our clients. And working alongside the benefiting family during this build knowing that our contribution makes a difference in their lives is the best reward.”
Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness from the world and to make decent shelter a matter of conscience and action. To accomplish these goals, Habitat for Humanity invites people of all backgrounds, races and religions to build houses together in partnership with families in need.
