Joitza Eftekhar-Henriquez

Joitza Eftekhar-Henriquez’s practice focuses on real estate transactions, guiding clients through acquisitions, development, and leasing. She has represented buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions as well as general business legal matters for closely held entities. She has experience preparing and negotiating commercial lease documents, including assignments, leases, letters of intent, surveys, and restrictions, as well as solar land lease agreements. Her approach centers on clarity, risk awareness, and compliance with governing requirements.

Joitza enjoys counseling clients throughout the lifecycle of a transaction, from initial strategy and contract drafting to due diligence, title review, and closing coordination. She has also supported the successful completion of numerous business asset sales, offering thorough oversight to help safeguard clients’ goals and streamline the process.

She earned her Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston and previously pursued Applied Sciences and Engineering studies, The Netherlands. She is fluent in Spanish, Dutch, and Papiamento.

Outside the office, Joitza enjoys time with her husband and family, traveling, jogging, and horseback riding. She also enjoys spoiling her dog Zorro – anything he wants he gets.
