BoyarMiller Client Deals Named Winners in ACG Deal of the Year Awards

HOUSTON (April 28, 2023) – The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Houston Chapter recognized two BoyarMiller 2022 client deals as winners on April 25 at its Sixth Annual Deal of the Year Awards.

The ACG awards program is a benchmark event that celebrates Houston’s middle-market deal community, and recognizes leaders from private equity, law, investment banking, accounting, and specialty advisory firms, as well as corporate executives and entrepreneurs. The deals are evaluated by an independent panel of business leaders and based on the economic and strategic impact of the transaction, stakeholder value, professional expertise, and overall story.

The two BoyarMiller winning deals are:

• In the renewables & sustainability category, the acquisition of Joule Processing by Plug Power Inc. with Shareholder Steve Kesten representing Joule Processing
• In the industrial services – corporate strategic acquisition category, the acquisition of C&D Scrap Metal by Merchants Metal Recycling LL CD LLC, a portfolio company of Company of Merchants with Shareholder John Ransom and Senior Associate Travis L. Johnson representing C&D Scrap Metal
