BoyarMiller Included on U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “2017 Best Law Firms” List for Seven Practice Areas; Firm Achieves Houston Metro Tier 1 Real Estate Ranking for Third Year

HOUSTON (Nov. 1, 2016) – BoyarMiller has achieved several designations from U.S. News – Best Lawyers® in its 2017 Best Law Firms rankings list. The firm received two national rankings and six metro rankings, including a tier 1 ranking for real estate law for the third consecutive year.

The listing is based on a rigorous evaluation process, including client and lawyer evaluations. “Tier 1” indicates that the firm’s real estate practice was recognized for professional excellence with persistently impressive ratings from clients and peers. The firm provides both corporate and litigation commercial real estate services.

“A hallmark of our firm is that our attorneys strive daily to provide superior legal counsel and services that are focused on our clients’ business success,” said BoyarMiller Chairman Chris Hanslik. “We are honored to be included in the rankings because evaluations are peer based and involve client feedback. It is confirmation that we are hitting the mark in delivering counsel beyond expectations.”

BoyarMiller’s national rankings include tier 2 in venture capital law and tier 3 in securities/capital markets law. For the metro Houston area, the firm’s rankings include: tier 1 for real estate law; tier 2 for commercial litigation, mergers and acquisitions law, securities/capital markets law and venture capital law; and, tier 3 for corporate law.

The 2017 rankings are based on the highest number of participating firms and the highest number of client ballots on record. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must have a lawyer listed in The Best Lawyers in America, which recognizes the top 4 percent of practicing attorneys in the U.S. There are three shareholders listed including Chris Hanslik, Bill Boyar and Gary Miller.
