BoyarMiller Real Estate Team Secures History-Making Deal for One of Houston’s Largest Land Sales
Fifth largest industrial park in the world sold
HOUSTON, Dec. 3, 2014 – BoyarMiller client TGS Cedar Port Partners LP acquired the assets of Cedar Crossing Industrial Park in Baytown, Texas, on December 1, 2014 in one of Houston’s all-time largest land sales. The BoyarMiller real estate team, led by Shareholders Bill Boyar and Cassie Stinson, advised TGS Cedar Port Partners on the transaction. Cedar Crossing is 11,000-acres, the fifth largest industrial park in the world, and equal to three-fourths that of New York’s Manhattan Island. The acquisition includes a 312,000 square foot warehouse and an industrial complex including a shortline railroad with 57 miles of track.
TGS Cedar Port is the largest industrial park in the greater Houston market as well as the entire Gulf Coast. The TGS Cedar Port Railroad has the capacity to store in excess of 2,000 rail cars, and the partnership intends to expand this capacity to 3,000 railcars by 2018 to accommodate increasing petrochemical and refining demand.
