Three BoyarMiller Attorneys Selected to 2018 Texas Rising Stars List

HOUSTON (March 16, 2018) – Only 2.5 percent of lawyers in Texas are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive the honor of being on the 2018 Texas Rising Stars lists—and three of them are BoyarMiller attorneys. Congratulations to Whitney Brieck, Philip Dunlap, and Blake Royal. They will be listed in the April issue of Texas Monthly Magazine.

Super Lawyers, a Thomson Reuters business, is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The annual selections are made using a patented multiphase process that includes a statewide survey of lawyers, an independent research evaluation of candidates, and peer reviews by practice area. The result is a credible, comprehensive and diverse listing of exceptional attorneys.

Whitney Brieck is a Senior Associate in the Litigation Group and joined BoyarMiller in 2015. This is the second consecutive year she has been listed as a Texas Rising Star. Her practice as a civil trial and appellate lawyer involves complex commercial disputes for general business and real estate clients.

This is the fifth consecutive year for Shareholder Philip Dunlap to be selected as a Texas Rising Star. His business practice is focused on private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and general commercial transactions.

Shareholder Blake Royal is a real estate and corporate business lawyer and has been recognized as a Texas Rising Star since 2014.
