Texas Super Lawyers selects BoyarMiller attorneys as 2014 rising stars

HOUSTON (March 27, 2014) – Texas Super Lawyers has selected BoyarMiller attorneys Philip Dunlap, Andrew Pearce, Blake Royal and David Stockel to its 2014 Rising Stars list, to be published in the April 2014 edition of Texas Monthly Magazine.

Risings Stars is a rating of outstanding young lawyers using a patented multiphase selection process with evaluations based on 12 indicators of peer recognition and professional achievement. No more than 2.5 percent of Texas attorneys are named to Rising Stars.

 This is the first year for Philip Dunlap, an Associate in BoyarMiller’s Business Group, and David Stockel, an Associate in BoyarMiller’s Litigation Group, to be named to the Rising Star list.  Dunlap’s practice primarily consists of corporate, private securities and real estate transactions as well as serving as outside general counsel in a variety of matters. Stockel’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, employment and intellectual property disputes, products and premises liability, and energy-related matters both onshore and offshore.

This is the second consecutive year that Andrew Pearce, a Senior Associate in BoyarMiller’s Litigation Group, and Blake Royal, a Senior Associate in BoyarMiller’s Business Group, have been named to the Rising Star list. Pearce represents both individuals and corporations in all types of commercial and business litigation. Royal handles of variety of real estate and corporate transactions.
