Bill Boyar Named Chair of The Faris Foundation’s 2026 Brighter Days Golf Classic

HOUSTON (April 7, 2026): The Faris Foundation announced that BoyarMiller founding shareholder Bill Boyar has been named chair of its 2026 Brighter Days Golf Classic, a signature fundraising event supporting pediatric cancer.

Hosted by The Faris Foundation, the annual golf tournament brings together Houston’s business and philanthropic communities for a day of golf, fellowship, and purpose to support pediatric cancer research and programs that bring brighter days to children with cancer. The event is scheduled for October 26, 2026 at TPC Houston in Sugar Land and continues a tradition that has raised more than $3.5 million over the past five years to advance transformative care and research for children with cancer.

As chair, Boyar will help lead planning, sponsorship engagement, and community participation efforts for the tournament. He and his wife, Pam Boyar, are serving as hosts for this year’s event.
