Meet Brent Pronger

Finding His Path in Corporate M&A

Brent Pronger is an Associate in BoyarMiller’s Corporate M&A Practice Group where he works on a broad range of transactions across a variety of industries. He knew he wanted to pursue a career in corporate law after taking a course in law school focused on venture capital transactions, where he became interested in the complexity behind deal structuring and transaction mechanics. That experience ultimately sparked his passion for Corporate M&A and the dynamic nature of transactional work.

What Brent enjoys most about his practice is that no two transactions are alike. Each deal presents its own unique challenges and opportunities, allowing him to continuously learn while helping clients navigate important business decisions.

Growing Through Mentorship

When reflecting on his growth as an associate, Brent credits the mentorship within BoyarMiller’s Corporate M&A team as one of the biggest contributors to his development. He values the opportunity to work alongside attorneys who are not only highly skilled, but also genuinely invested in supporting and developing the next generation of lawyers.

Beyond the Office

Outside of the office, Brent is an avid bowhunter and enjoys spending time practicing at The Carriage Archery Club as a way to unwind after a busy week or closing a deal. If he had not pursued a legal career, he says he likely would have explored a career in sports, either as a sports agent or working in baseball operations for a professional team. When it comes to Houston favorites, you can probably find Brent enjoying a meal at El Tiempo.
