Lyndsay Fincher joined the Business Group in January 2013. Her practice is primarily devoted to representing domestic and foreign entities and individuals in a wide range of corporate and real estate matters including private securities, complex mergers and acquisitions, corporate formation and restructuring, leasing and land acquisition, disposition and development.

Prior to joining BoyarMiller, as an associate for a boutique firm in Houston, Lyndsay worked on various corporate and real estate matters including entity formation, corporate governance, and acquisition, development, leasing, management and disposition of residential and commercial properties.

As a dean’s scholar at South Texas College of Law Houston, Lyndsay served as the Managing Editor for the Texas Business Journal, the official publication of the State Bar of Texas. During that time, she clerked for the Honorable Judge Bohm and with the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia. Prior to law school, Lyndsay was a sixth grade math and science teacher at Yes Prep Public Schools.

Capital Formation/Private Placement

  • Representation of a memory care facility in connection with its initial organization and round one capital.

Mergers and Acquisitions

  • Represented the owner of a Houston-based industrial pump services company in connection with the sale of all of the capital stock of the company to a Chicago-based private equity firm.
  • Represented a private company in its acquisition of an oil and gas services company.

Public & Public/Private Partnership Projects

  • Represented Midway in a collaborative partnership with Texas A&M University, among others, in connection with the financing, development and pre-leasing of phase one of an approximately 60 acre multi-phase mixed-use project in College Station, Texas known as Century Square, which, once complete, will include two full-service hotels, office, retail, restaurants, entertainment, loft apartments and more.

Real Estate

  • Represented various landlords and real estate developers in the negotiation of office and retail leases with national chains and local tenants.
  • Preparation of condominium declaration and related governance documents for mixed-use condominium project in the City of Houston, Texas.
